Dear Respondent,

We are conducting a study the purpose of which is to identify the image that Americans have of Japan as a country and tourist destination. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in completing the questionnaires that follows.


PLEASE NOTE:
     •    This survey is intended for people aged 18 years or older. If you are under the age of 18, please do not continue.
     •    This survey is completely voluntary. You may skip any question if you do not feel comfortable and discontinue participation at any time.
     •    The questionnaire is anonymous. You do not need to identify yourself or write your name anywhere in this questionnaire.
     •    Please answer questions candidly and to the best of your ability.
     •    There will be no compensation provided for participation.
     •    Data will be analyzed in an aggregate form and individual participants’ results will not be disclosed to anyone.
     •    The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
