In her current role, she oversees the Office of Student Services. Her responsibilities include program development, academic advising services, facilitating “student success” workshops, orientations and helping students interpret curriculum and university requirements. She serves on various boards and search committees throughout the university and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the Black Faculty and Staff Organization, the National Academic Advising Association and established the first National Society of Minorities in Hospitality Chapter at the university.

She holds an Associate of Science in Legal Studies from Orlando College, an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Valencia Community College, Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Arts degree in Issues of Social Concern at the University of Central Florida.
