Youngsoo Choi completed his Ph.D. in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management at Penn State University and joined the Rosen College in 2006 as an Assistant Professor. He is currently teaching Hospitality Human Resource Management and International Tourism Management. His general area of research interest is the application of economic theories and quantitative analyses to explain various tourism phenomena, with specific focus on estimation and forecasting of tourism demand (both regional and international), empirical study of the characteristic relationships among international tourism destinations, and issues in hospitality human resource management.
