Dr.
Po-Ju Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Rosen College
of Hospitality Management at the University of Central
Florida. She joined the faculty in August of 2002 and teaches
hospitality and tourism management courses. Prior to joining
the Rosen College of Hospitality Management, she worked
for the travel industry for more than four years. She has
worked on research projects for the Convention and Visitors
Bureau, Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau, and
Heritage Preservation Commission in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Chen received both her
Doctorate and Masters degrees from the School of Hotel,
Restaurant, and Recreation Management at Pennsylvania State
University. Her research interests have been focused on
marketing research emphasizing on tourism, destination
marketing, and research methodology. Her concentration
is both on the theoretical aspects and practical issues
in tourism and hospitality.
Her publications include research
articles in the Journal of Travel Research, Journal of
Hospitality & Tourism Educator, and Journal of Park
and Recreation Administration.
Dr. Chen is a member of Tourism
and Travel Research Association and the Council on Hotel,
Restaurant, and Institutional Education. |
