Khaldoon
Nusair, joined the Rosen College team in August of 2007.
He earned his Ph.D. in Hospitality Management from The
Ohio State University, in Columbus, OH. His dissertation
focus was on building a model of commitment in a B-to-C
travel context. He holds two Master of Science degrees:
the first in Technological Systems Management and the second
in Management Information Systems from The State University
of New York at Stony Brook. In addition, he holds the New
York State Advanced Certificate in Information Systems.
His Bachelor of Science in Administrative Sciences is from
Yarmouk University, Jordan. In the spring of 2007, he received
an Excellence in Research Award from the Dept of Consumer
Sciences, the Ohio State University. His research interests
include E-commerce, Pricing Decisions and Marketing, and
Information Systems. Taught Hospitality Managerial Accounting
and Hotel Systems at The Ohio State University and is currently
teaching Event Technology and Hospitality Information Systems
at the Rosen College. Prior to joining Rosen College, he
worked for more than five years in the IT industry.
