	Advising and Undergraduate Academic Services Advising is an essential part of the academic experience at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. The mission is to provide students with outstanding service and support to ensure they meet their educational objectives, while maintaining and abiding by the specific policies, procedures, and values of the University of Central Florida . In pursuing our mission we are committed to promoting an environment that is inclusive and diverse in all of our endeavors. The Academic Services advisor will help students interpret and understand university policies, procedures, academic requirements and curricular offerings to ensure completion of degree program(s). Assist with schedule planning and provide information about campus resources and services to help students make the most of their experience at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management.

	Each student is also assigned a Faculty Advisor according to their last name. The faculty advisor will be instrumental in assuring that the students understand the areas of concentration within the curriculum. Students will be notified of their assigned faculty advisor at Orientation and are encouraged to meet with their faculty advisor their first semester of enrollment. Our ultimate goal is to provide guidance for students in a manner that fosters a sense of joint responsibility of lifelong learning.
